Update One

The beginning of our Project! This first update covers our goals and ambitions for our group as we piece together an idea of what we want our final end result to look like.

To begin our project, we know we want to create Sunscreen stations and locate them all around the Wellington District to help influence good habits into the locals and help them protect themselves from the danger of Skin Cancer. As a group, we decided that this goal was obtainable through the sales of eco-friendly t-shirts that we would design, produce and sell for a profit with all funds going towards funding the sunscreen stations. With this large goal set out, we decided to make it easier by breaking it down into different groups and having certain people of our group work towards these different sections of our goal.

To the left shows our roles in the group clearly labelled with what our responsibility is. We also grouped ourselves into different teams to cover lager tasks like the finance department. By doing this, we can know exactly what we should be working towards in the group to make sure that nobody is left without a job.

Next Steps?

Our next steps include doing some market research to see how plausible this project is. Our designing team are going to begin the process of discussing what our end product is going to look like and discuss with our finance team if we can afford to fund our creation. We are also quickly realising that we will need help from a public company who have years of experience in this department.
